In Redux, handling asynchronous actions poses a unique challenge due to the synchronous nature of Redux reducers. Middleware like Redux Thunk provides a solution to this problem by allowing us to dispatch asynchronous actions in Redux.

Why use Redux middleware?

Redux middleware allows us to intercept actions before they reach the reducers, enabling additional logic such as handling asynchronous operations, logging, and more.

In the Redux Async Data Flow, an action is dispatched to the Redux store. If the action is synchronous, it proceeds directly to the reducers, which update the state accordingly. However, if the action is asynchronous, it is intercepted by middleware, which performs the asynchronous operation (e.g., fetching data from an API). Once the asynchronous operation completes, a new action is dispatched with the retrieved data, which then flows through the reducers to update the state.

How are we accommodating async in our Redux app?

We accommodate asynchronous behavior in our Redux app by using middleware like Redux Thunk. This middleware enables us to dispatch asynchronous actions, such as API requests, and handle the results appropriately once they resolve.
